Late this afternoon, I was pleased to spot these ice formations on Lake Michigan at Pier Cove. There was almost no wind which hasn’t happened very often during my visits to the lakeshore. The ice gently floated, swaying with the little wave activity that was present.
I hope you’ll keep dazzling us with that ice!

Absolutely gorgeous photo. I have spent a lot of time in Marquette Michigan on Lake Superior. 360 inches of snow a year; this photo reads like ice islands in on another planet. I love the Great Lakes and this photo brings back sweet memories. Excellent Color, Composition, and exposure. You Betcha Eh?
