Sign of Spring

This morning I saw the first robin of the year here as the skies were sunny and beginning to melt the recent snowfall. Its been a mild winter in Southwest Michigan, although the month of March has been colder and had its share of snowfall so far. I’m looking forward to no more snow soon until next winter 🙂

  1. Great picture. So different to our Robins on this side of the pond. Here we have them all year round and they are particularly noticeable in the winter. They are a special part of Christmas.

  2. I see you have the same kind that we have – they have snow beside them. A new batch has flown in recently. This kind has bare ground around them. Your robin looks happy and bright. It’s so good to see them after the long winter!
