After driving down a westbound road, directly into the blinding sun as it was setting, I waited until dark to capture the beauty of the stars on this Autumnal Equinox. I also managed to find a shooting star in one image in addition to a portrait of the moon I took shortly after the sunset.

Love these! A departure from your usual subjects, and well worth the drive and patience required. Thank you for stepping out of your comfort zone and sharing the stunning results! Made the herald of winter coming a bit more tolerable! 😉🌠🌌🌕
Thank you Karen!
Love the stars. Cool you captured the shooting star. Thanks for sharing.
Totally fascinating! I captured last nights sunset and moon but no stars, too many city lights. Thank you I needed a star gaze.
That’s amazing that you caught a shooting star at that split second. Beautiful photos!
Thanks so much Anneli!
Oh my…speechless here!
Thanks Bambi 🙂
